The first step in the destination’s tourism revival

A digital project that goes far beyond simply building a tourism portal, it represents the first step in a cultural and social regeneration undertaken by Massa Martana council, made possible thanks to funding from the PNRR (national recovery plan) – M1C3, Measure 2 “Attractiveness of Historic Villages”, as part of the project “Massa Martana, the village of words and deeds”.

A portal that tells stories and inspires

In collaboration with destination manager Paolo Borroi, we developed a true digital ecosystem, with the official Visit Massa Martana portal at its core.

The website is designed as a useful, intuitive tool for discovering the area:

Clear structure and simple navigation: the sections “Discover Massa Martana”, “Things to do”, “Where to stay”, and “Useful information” guide visitors through the destination’s history, culture, experiences, events, and practical services.
A strategic destination: Massa Martana is presented as an ideal getaway in the green heart of Italy, well connected to villages and art cities such as Todi, Spoleto, Assisi, and Orvieto.
Authentic content: from its historical origins to local specialities, and routes exploring Romanesque abbeys, plus nature trails.
Events and local life: an up-to-date calendar that showcases the area’s cultural wealth and the village’s vibrant spirit. The elegant, readable design was created to convey emotion, immersing visitors in the spirit of the village.

Always up-to-date data

One of the project’s strengths is the Feratel platform integration, which feeds the portal with continuously updated data on events, accommodation, experiences, and local activities.

This connection makes the portal more than a static information space: it becomes a dynamic hub that gives tourists a real-time picture, that is constantly refreshed, of what’s on offer.

In this way, the portal becomes a reliable tool both for travellers looking for inspiration for their holiday and for local operators who want to strengthen their online presence.

From online to destination: the “Tiberio” app

One of the project’s most innovative elements is the creation of Tiberio, the in-destination application available both as a web app and in a Loop TV version.

A true digital travel companion that pulls content directly from the website and provides visitors, in real time, with useful information during their stay: events, experiences, points of interest, and accommodation.
