An ambitious project

Born out of the vision of the Val di Sole tourist board, together with Grandi Eventi Val di Sole, a forward-looking digital project was built: a single, complete, and ultra-accessible portal for anyone who lives for cycling not only as a sport, but as a lifestyle. 

With valdisolebikeland.com, we brought everything together in one place: epic trails, outdoor experiences, international events, practical info, and pure passion. One digital destination where cyclists of all abilities, from beginner to pro, can find what they are looking for without getting lost. The result? A smart, seamless platform that is great to browse and which tells the story of the Val di Sole in every bend, climb, and descent.

Excellence on two wheels

We’re talking about a land that has made mountain bike history. From the 2008 MTB World Championships to those coming in 2026, Val di Sole is the only regular Italian date on the UCI calendar, having hosted 4 World Championships and 12 World Cup rounds to date.The new portal celebrates all of this with an events section designed to inspire and inform: the historic ones, the upcoming ones, the ones that make your heart race. Because here, every event is an experience. And every experience makes wonderful memories... ideally in the saddle.

Identity & Communication

We shaped and aligned two different identities, product and event, each with its own style, colours, and voice.

On one hand, BikeLand’s natural tones: the brown of trails and mountains blends with the vivid green of the forests, instantly evoking a deep connection with nature and the territory. On the other, the visual energy of the rainbow colours of the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships, a symbol of competition, speed, and adrenaline.

Two distinct worlds, perfectly integrated into a single digital platform.

Users can move effortlessly from one section to the other, shifting from the outdoor experience to the rush of international events, without ever losing their bearings or uniformity. An interface designed to be seamless, immersive, and complete. Each area has its own space but they speak the same language.

Beyond the events

A broad and diverse tourism offer, designed for different types of cyclists. 

For the Val di Sole tourist board, we set the wheels in motion across a territory that has made cycling its way of life. Beyond telling the story of international sporting events, the heart of the project was to enhance a wide-ranging, tailor-made tourism offer for every kind of cyclist. From extreme downhill to family-friendly routes, we built a digital ecosystem able to speak in a direct, inspiring way to different audiences. The idea? To bring out the full potential of the destination, not only as a venue for major events, but as a place to experience in person 365 days a year, on two wheels. The result is a website that works, engages, and guides.

Meeting with the local stakeholders

We met with operators in the Val to Sole to present the project and align the local area around a shared goal: to strengthen the strategic plan for welcoming cycling fans and enthusiasts. As Fabio Sacco, Director of APT Val di Sole and Grandi Eventi, explained, the evolution of digital language is key to engaging every mountain bike lover and everyone who cares about our territory. In this way, the new website becomes a shop window for everything that makes the Val di Sole a unique and special destination.

When vision and the right energy come together, they create projects that really hit the mark. 

That is exactly what happened with the Kumbe team and the Val di Sole tourist board: a genuine partnership built on listening, dialogue, and a drive to innovate. We brought together hearts, minds, and skills in one place to design smart, functional digital solutions that are also simply beautiful to look at. A synergy that presents the authentic soul of the Val di Sole with both style and substance.

Technology and Services: an Integrated Ecosystem

The new portal is a technologically advanced platform:

  • Interactive maps: multiple maps coexist (Outdoor Active, Mowi Bike), allowing users to view itineraries, POIs, and related services such as bike centers and rentals
  • E-commerce services: direct clicks to event tickets, bike passes, and official merchandising.
  • Bookings: an overall view of “Bike Hotels” with the ability to filter according to your needs.
  • High-quality multimedia content
  • Guided content: dedicated sections with tips, family tours, and adrenaline itineraries, plus a blog with an informal tone and an A-to-Z guide to services by location.

The new portal marks a real shift up a gear for Val di Sole’s tourism promotion. It combines the strength of the territory, authentic, rich, and alive, with the effectiveness of a modern, seamless, integrated digital ecosystem. It’s not just a website: it’s a tool designed for those who live cycling today, and for those who will live it tomorrow. An intelligent entry point, beautiful to use, and able to tell everything Val di Sole is. And everything it can become.
